Gunman suspected of killing 5 neighbors arrested in US Texas

HOUSTON -- A gunman suspected of killing five neighbors including a young boy was arrested on Tuesday after days of large-scale manhunt in south central US state Texas, authorities said.
Francisco Oropesa, the suspect, was "caught hiding in a closet underneath some laundry," San Jacinto County Sheriff Greg Capers told reporters Tuesday, adding that he was "uninjured" and taken to a facility in Coldspring.
Investigators said they believe Oropesa, a 38-year-old Mexican national, was intoxicated late Friday night when he killed five of the ten neighbors who asked him to be quiet because they had a baby who was trying to sleep. He shot inside their home with an AR-15 outside in his front yard.
The shooting took place in Cleveland, a small town about 55 miles (88.5 km) north of Houston. All the victims were from Honduras.
Oropesa was previously deported four times, according to local media reports.
