Top banker: Collaboration on climate financing imperative

The 2023 Spring Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund were held in Washington DC recently, with discussions on interest rates, banking crises, climate financing, debt relief and more. In an exclusive interview with China Daily on the sidelines of the meetings, Jin Liqun, president of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), called on multilateral development banks, international financial organizations and others to strengthen investment and financing in climate change.
