The 2023 China Motocross Championship will open in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region on May 1, according to a news conference held at China National Convention Center in Beijing on Friday.
The three-day challenging national event will draw dozens of racing teams and individual motorcyclists from around China to compete in several rounds at the Silver Sand Bay in Huree Banner of Tongliao.
Racing participants are divided into different groups based on their age, as well as the type of vehicles they drive, according to the event organizers.
To further promote the spirit of outdoor sportsmanship, the whole nerve-racking route with set of barriers and climbs is designed to test racers’ professional skills.
The popularity of the event is further highlighted by the fact that it is a place combined with outdoor tourism and the culture of Huree Banner.
The event is co-hosted by the Federation of Automobile and Motorcycle Sports of China and the government of Huree Banner.
