CNOOC discovers big oil field in Bohai Sea

China National Offshore Oil Corp said it has discovered another 100-million-metric-ton level oil field in the Bohai Sea. The oilfield, named Bozhong 26-6, has an estimated energy reserve equivalent of over 130 million tons of oil.

Nanyang speeds up transport projects

Nanyang, a city in Central China's Henan province, is speeding up construction of 10 transport projects this year to better serve the travel needs of its over 12 million residents. The city will see a surge in project works in its two districts, 10 counties and one county-level city of Dengzhou. One of them is the Nanyang-Dengzhou Expressway, a 67-kilometer road being partially built by China Railway No 4 Engineering Group Co Ltd and aiming at fast links with Hubei province.
