Watch it again: Gen Zers focus on education and its future

The eighth episode of season two of the China Daily series Youth Power, titled “Education&The Future+”, will be broadcast on at 8pm Beijing time (7am EST) on Jan 30.

As students everywhere prepare for a new school semester or term we are joined by Gen Zers from around the world to talk about the state of education and its future. Our guests hail from Brazil, Bulgaria, China, France, Russia, Thailand, the United States, Uzbekistan and Yemen. Education is one of the most important pillars of society, but how much do we really know about education outside our own country?

Join us to find out how education works in various countries. How much does it cost? What subjects are popular in various countries, and why do people pick certain ones? What values do education systems across the world instill in young people? What role will Generation Z play in the future of education? What do people think of university degrees and rankings?
