Nanyang sees key road project progress
Central China's Henan province is speeding up construction of a key road in Nanyang, one of its prefecture-level cities. The Express Corridor linking the city with Yahe Zone is being built by China Railway No 4 Engineering Group Co Ltd. It is part of the province's S231 Expressway. Builders rotated a 120-meter-long, 12,000-ton precast box girder deck last week on the road to traverse the existing Jiaozuo-Liuzhou Railway without affecting its operations. Upon completion, the road will offer 12.08 million local residents easier travel to other cities and the neighboring Hubei province.
