The group has also achieved carbon neutrality in its operations and the entire supply chain since 2018 and promises to achieve zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

To deepen the concept of sustainable innovation into the next generation, Kering also actively cooperates with Tsinghua University and other universities, Cai said.

"In 2018, we jointly launched the world's first open course on sustainable development and fashion from the London College of Fashion. More than 30,000 students from different schools and regions participate in the course, and we hope to cultivate more professional talents with sustainable development in the fashion industry," Cai said, adding that the second session will be carried out this year.
