Fiscal revenue falls in first 9 months
China's fiscal revenue dropped 6.6 percent year-on-year during the first nine months, official data showed. The country's fiscal revenue amounted to approximately 15.3 trillion yuan ($2.13 trillion) during the period, said the Ministry of Finance.
Huawei Jan-Sept revenue 445b yuan
Huawei Technologies Co announced on Thursday that its revenue in the first three quarters hit 445.8 billion yuan ($61.6 billion), with the profit margin of its main business standing at 6.1 percent. Based on calculations, its revenue for the third quarter alone stood at 144.2 billion yuan, up 6.5 percent year-on-year, showcasing that Huawei has now achieved steady growth in its information communications technology infrastructure business after US government sanctions impacted its once mighty smartphone business.
