Watch it again: Martyrs' Day event commemorates fallen national heroes
President Xi Jinping and other leaders of the Communist Party of China and the State join representatives from all walks of life in presenting flowers to fallen national heroes on Friday morning in Tian'anmen Square.
Sept 30 is China's Martyrs' Day in commemoration of those who sacrificed their lives for national independence and prosperity, as well as the welfare of the people in modern times.
