SME growth stable in Jan-July period
China's small and medium-sized enterprises showed stable growth in the first seven months, official data showed on Tuesday. The combined operating revenue of the country's major industrial SMEs rose 8.1 percent year-on-year in the January-July period, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said. Profits of these companies during the period were up 1.6 percent from a year earlier. In the first half, the country's micro, small and medium-sized enterprises received nearly 1.8 trillion yuan ($261.62 billion) in tax and fee cuts and deferrals as well as tax refunds, official data showed.
Yili H1 revenue up 12% to 63b yuan
Chinese dairy giant Yili Industrial Group Co Ltd generated revenue of about 63.21 billion yuan ($9.17 billion) in the first half, up 12 percent year-on-year, the company said in a report. Its net profit attributable to the parent company totaled 6.13 billion yuan, up 15 percent year-on-year.
