China Mobile in pole position for 6G race

China Mobile, the world's largest telecom carrier by mobile subscribers, unveiled its overall architecture design for 6G on Tuesday, as it steps up its push into research and development of the next-generation wireless technology. The white paper on China Mobile 6G network architecture is the first systematic 6G architecture design in the telecom industry, the company said.

New HSR line aims to boost Zhengzhou biz

Central China's Henan province has put a new high-speed railway into operation in the provincial capital of Zhengzhou amid efforts to make the city a key transport hub. Zhengzhou Airport Railway Station was opened to traffic on Monday after four years of construction, with China Railway No 4 Engineering Group Co Ltd being a builder. By linking with Zhengzhou Railway Station and Zhengzhou East Railway Station, it can also connect with the existing Zhengzhou-Chongqing HSR, the Zhengzhou-Fuyang HSR and the Zhengzhou-Xinzheng Airport Intercity Railway, helping speed up regional integration and promote the progress of Central China.
