Honor receives national-level honor

Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently announced a list of national-level intelligent manufacturing demonstration factories. The Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park by Chinese tech company Honor Device Co in Shenzhen was the only firm in the mobile phone-making industry to be included in the list.

The company's latest premium phones, including Honor Magic 4 Series, are all produced in the factory. The facility features 100 percent automatic control of key equipment and 95 percent of them are connected online.

Moreover, 75 percent of the production line is completed using automation, of which more than 40 percent was developed by Honor's own research and development team.

Zhao Ming, CEO of Honor, said consumers have upped requirements for products so the company needs to realize further improvement through higher-level design and intelligent manufacturing abilities.

Moreover, he also mentioned that the year of 2022 marks Honor's full exploration of the global market. Since March, the company has launched several products in many countries and Honor Magic 4 Series will go on sale in international markets soon, he said.
