LIVE: World Book Day special

Join in live on Friday at 7pm (7am EST) for our livestreaming World Book Day episode! Books are a huge part of life, from children's books that grace our lives at a young age to books that are hundreds of pages long. Fantasy, sci-fi, romance, self-help, history, fiction, and novels, are just some of the many types of books that keep readers turning the pages. Whether you are an avid reader or pick up a book every once in a while, books are a huge part of every one's lives.

Started by the UNESCO on April 23, 1995, World Book Day has celebrated the wonder of books. In this livestream hosts will be taking a visit to one of Beijing's most popular bookstores and interviewing patrons. Finding out how often people read, whether they prefer paper or digital reading, and some of their recommendations for books to read!

In a world where scrolling through the phone has become a popular pass time for many Gen Z youth, books are still keeping many engaged. Books keep the imagination flowing, without visual aids, books are unique in letting the reader visualize the story.
