Las Vegas shooting leaves one dead
Fourteen people were shot during a party at a Las Vegas hookah lounge early on Saturday, including one man who was killed and two others who were critically wounded. The shooting happened at about 3:15 am, and preliminary information indicated two people got into an altercation and exchanged gunfire, said police captain Dori Koren. No arrests had been made and no suspect descriptions were immediately available but authorities did not believe there was any danger to the public, Koren said. Investigators were trying to determine the types of gun or guns used in the shooting.

Suspected ballistic missile fired
The Democratic People's Republic of Korea fired what was believed to be a ballistic missile toward its eastern waters, the Republic of Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said on Sunday. It said it detected the ballistic missile being launched from near Pyongyang at 7:52 am local time but gave no further details. ROK's presidential office Blue House then convened an emergency meeting of its National Security Council presided over by National Security Office chief Suh Hoon. The DPRK conducted seven missile tests in January.
