Gu Ailing: Inspiring even one girl is 'meeting my goal'

China's prodigy Gu Ailing claimed a historic gold in the women's freeski big air at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games on Tuesday.

The 18-year-old freeskier is a rising superstar among young people. When asked how she feels about being an role model at a news conference after the match, she said she didn't think she is a big name now, but if even one girl has been inspired to take up skiing it would meet her goal.
