Patent, trademark work to get priority
China will emphasize roles of patent and trademark examination during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25) for high-quality development of the sector, the National Intellectual Property Administration said in a plan. By 2025, patent and trademark examination work is expected to be more efficient and timely in meeting demand from new fields and new business modes, the NIPA plan stated. The NIPA will guide patent and trademark application growth, and highlight their roles in boosting innovation.
Energy body, agri bank sign power deal
Agricultural Bank of China, a State-controlled commercial bank, and the country's energy administration on Monday signed a cooperation deal to boost clean energy use as well as energy transformation in rural areas. In the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), ABC plans to lend 3 trillion yuan ($473.19 billion) to the energy sector, including 1 trillion yuan to the county-level energy sector, China Securities Journal reported.
