On Jan 20, Beijing Radio and Television Station released a documentary called ShiJingshan, named after a district in Beijing, providing an in-depth visual interpretation of the development of a new landmark in the city's urban regeneration.

The production team spent 13 month interviewing and filming the six episodes, 180 minutes in total.

They went to every corner of Shijingshan district, recorded the best shots of the well-known sites during all seasons of the year, and coordinated repeatedly to capture a bird's-eye view from Chang'an Street to Yongding River in Xishan, which had never been shown on video in recent years.

In order to restore the vitality of the area, the team used 4k ultra-high definition video shooting and post-packaging techniques, large-scale aerial filming, time-lapse, underwater photography and 3D animation technology to create an audio-visual feast for the audiences.
