This year's fair for trade in services, which will kick off in Beijing on Sept 2, will showcase leading technology in engineering and construction sector at an independent exhibition area spread over 4,800 square meters. The thematic exhibition — Engineering Consulting and Construction Services — will last for five days from Sept 3 to 7 at Shougang Industrial Park, according to a report of Beijing Daily on Sunday.

The construction services exhibition, which made its debut at the 2020 CIFTIS, or China International Fair for Trade in Services, completed a contracted investment volume of 30.3 billion yuan ($4.67 billion) with an exhibition area of 370 square meters. This year's exhibition area has been expanded more than 12 times to 4,800 square meters to present latest construction technologies in three areas: industry exhibition, enterprise exhibition, and intelligent equipment experience area.

Achievements and samples of leading engineering consulting and construction services, equipment, technologies, artificial intelligence and intelligent integrated system, as well as high-performance eco-friendly construction materials will be presented at the industry exhibition area. The enterprise exhibition area will boost exchanges and communications among companies worldwide by using digital technologies and other methods.

Advanced construction equipment, AI, smart and eco-friendly homes, as well as intelligent parks will be showcased at the intelligent equipment exhibition area with open interaction experience zones.

Visitors can explore the construction methods of super engineering through big screens, sand tables, solid models, and extended reality wearable. They will also get the chance to experience construction robots, 3D-printed buildings, as well as simulation models of intelligent engineering equipment.
