Every summer from July to September, delicate wild mushrooms harvested in Yunnan province need washing. It's no easy task.

"It is quite difficult to wash the flimsy mushroom clean without damaging it," said Duan Yonglin, deputy general manager of the Mushuihua Market, China's largest wild mushroom trading market, in Kunming, Yunnan province.

Zhang Juxian, one of the washers, spends about 30 minutes washing and packaging 2 kilograms of mushrooms.
