Shanghai's vehicle exports increase
Shanghai exported 206,000 motor vehicles in the first half of this year, up 1.65 times year-on-year, with their value increasing to 20.64 billion yuan ($3.19 billion), up 1.9 times year-on-year, with both volume and value reaching record highs, Shanghai Customs said. More cars were sold to developed economies.
On Fortune 500 list, CSCEC higher at 13
China State Construction Engineering Corp, or CSCEC, jumped from 18th place last year to 13th rank on the 2021 list of Fortune 500 corporations, continuing its annual rise over the past 15 years, according to Fortune magazine. The largest builder in China earned a total revenue of 1.62 trillion yuan ($257 billion) in 2020, up nearly 14 percent from the 2019 level. Total value of inked contracts exceeded 3 trillion yuan last year, up nearly 11.6 percent year-on-year.
