Watch it again: A look inside Xinjiang's International Grand Bazaar
The International Grand Bazaar is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Urumqi, capital of the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region.
Officially opened in 2003, the bazaar is a big marketplace with a variety of booths selling garments, musical instruments, pottery, jewelry, nuts, fruits and carpets.
The architecture, with a unique blend of local and traditional styles, is also one of the bazaar's standout features.
China Daily reporter Jocelyn Eikenburg is on her first-ever tour to the Grand Bazaar. Watch as she explores the sights and sounds during a livestreaming event at 6:30 pm on Wednesday.
