BYD new energy vehicle sales zoom
June sales have surged, China's leading new energy vehicle maker BYD said on Tuesday. The Shenzhen-based company's sales of NEVs surged 192 percent year-on-year to 41,366 units. In the first half, BYD sold 154,579 NEVs.
STAR Market firms expect growth in H1
Nearly 60 percent of China's STAR Market-listed companies that have released performance forecasts are expecting net profit growth in the first half, the China Securities Journal reported. Up to 80 STAR Market-listed companies had released their first-half forecasts, and 46 of them had predicted net profit growth.
