NEV storage battery output rises in March

Output of storage batteries to power new energy vehicles rose 151.9 percent year-on-year in China in March, industry data showed. The output stood at 11.3 gigawatt-hours last month, according to the China Automotive Battery Innovation Alliance. In the first quarter, the total output reached 32.8 gWh, up 296.5 percent year-on-year. In March, the installed capacity of the batteries came in at 9 gWh.

Garment industry recovers in Jan-Feb

China's garment industry reported continued recovery in the first two months of the year, official data showed. From January to February, major Chinese garment enterprises saw their combined output rise 38.4 percent from a year ago to 3.4 billion pieces, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
