FESTIVITIES AIM TO BOOST CULTURE AND TOURISM
From April 13 to May 8, the First China (Zhengzhou)Yellow River Culture Month is to be held in a joint effort by Henan provincial publicity department, the department of culture and tourism, and the city governments of Zhengzhou, Kaifeng and Luoyang.
Nine main events will be staged: China(Zhengzhou) Yellow River Culture Month and "Voice of the Yellow River" matrix promotion initiation ceremony; 2021 ceremony to honor Huangdi; "Three cities, 300 miles and 3,000 years" culture and tourism series activities; performance season of stage arts in the Yellow River Basin; themed art salon on Yellow River culture; China (Zhengzhou) International Forum of Mayors of Tourism Cities; China (Zhengzhou) Yellow River Chorus Week; Yellow River Treasury, an exhibition of cultural relics from nine provinces along the Yellow River, and "Together @ Yellow River"-China(Zhengzhou) Yellow River Culture Month series cultural products premiere.
Based on traditional culture, this event closely follows the themes of the time with the aid of advanced technologies, reaching a balance between inheritance and innovation. Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and implementing the nation's Yellow River strategies, nine provinces and regions along the Yellow River are to join hands and hold a series of activities both online and offline to satisfy the people's needs such as worshipping ancestors online, participating in high-end forums, sightseeing along the Yellow River and experiencing the culture of the Yellow River.
During the event, live broadcasts will promote boutique culture and tourism routes in Zhengzhou, Kaifeng and Luoyang, Henan province. Besides cultural tourism, a series of innovative products representing the unique Yellow River culture and a theme song "Together @ Yellow River" will be launched.
