Exhibit displays cultural diversity, poverty alleviation in Xinjiang

The images map an overall picture of Xinjiang via aspects of natural scenery (as well as ecological protection work for better environment over the years), lives of different ethnic groups in the region and their cultural diversities, as well as poverty alleviation efforts that have increased income of impoverished people.

The event underway at the exhibition hall of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles in the capital runs through March 31. It's supported by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and China Photographers Association and organized by the federation's Photography Art Center.
