LIVE: Passage interviews of political advisers before annual session opens
The fourth session of the 13th CPPCC National Committee, China's top political advisory body, is set to open its annual session on Thursday afternoon. Political advisers will take questions at the passage interview via video link ahead of the opening of the session at the Great Hall of the People.
Passage interviews got their name because they usually take place on walkways leading to the main hall of the Great Hall of the People before or after plenary meetings of the National People's Congress and the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
