Meet the people, places honored for poverty relief

Yeping township
in Ruijin, East China's Jiangxi province

Since the beginning of the poverty-reduction war, a total of 8,908 people from 2,308 households in the township have been lifted out of poverty. Red tourism has become the pillar industry of its economy in recent years. Yeping has also developed its own six agricultural industries with special features, such as white lotus and aquatic products, and has created poverty-alleviation products brands.
