Sanya remains for the ninth year in a row the most popular domestic destination for high-net-worth individuals with at least 10 million yuan of investable assets, according to the Hurun Wealth Report 2020.

The Hurun report said that Sanya has set a benchmark for the national and even global tourism market in tourism recovery and economic growth in the post-pandemic era based on policies such as free trade port construction and offshore duty-free policies.
