Ministry emphasizes safety on campuses
The Ministry of Education has urged primary and secondary schools and kindergartens across the country to ensure campus safety this year. In a circular issued on Wednesday, the ministry instructed schools to strictly prohibit unauthorized access to campuses and to keep explosives, restricted knives and other dangerous items out of campuses amid efforts to prevent school violence. Zhuhai air show to return this year
The 13th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, the country's biggest air show, will be held this year after being canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Zhuhai Mayor Yao Yisheng said on Tuesday. The event, originally scheduled for November in Zhuhai, Guangdong province, will resume this year at the Zhuhai Airshow Center in the city's Jinwan district, Yao said in his government work report during the annual meeting of the city's people's congress. The biennial event, which usually draws key global suppliers such as Airbus, Boeing and Commercial Aircraft Corp of China, has become one of the world's major air shows. Zhuhai also plans to hold AERO Asia, a business and general aviation show for China and Southeast Asia, this year, Yao said.
