Zodiac Ox Mug symbolizes hope for new year

So far, more than 30 of his works have won awards on the international design stage, including the German Design Award and the Red Dot Design Award. His creativity is gaining a spotlight around the international design scene.

To acknowledge his contribution to bamboo design, the International Bamboo and Rattan Organization included Shi in its 2017 publication, 100 Heroes of China's Bamboo Industry, and invited him to present a keynote speech at the inaugural Global Bamboo and Rattan Congress in Beijing in June 2018.

Shi is an American citizen born in 1964 to Chinese parents from Southwest China's Sichuan province.
