After long hours spent making meals in the kitchen, most people would probably appreciate an extra set of hands. But with advances in robotics, that commonplace fantasy is no longer such a distant dream.

The Moley Kitchen system, showcased at the 2021 Consumer Electronics Show, features a dexterous robot integrated into a luxury kitchen that prepares freshly cooked meals at the touch of a button.

At the heart of the new technology are two robotic arms featuring fully-articulated 'hands', which replicate human motions for cooking.

Consumers can choose from a digital menu with over 5,000 choices, as well as having the option to record their own family-favorite dishes using Moley's innovative recipe-creator software.

The Moley Kitchen, designed by robotics and healthcare expert Mark Oleynik of Moley Robotics, was demonstrated in Las Vegas at one of the world's premier consumer technology shows.
