Cross-border imports surge in Tianjin
Foreign trade orders via cross-border e-commerce rose sharply in the northern port city of Tianjin during the first 11 months of this year, with imports accounting for bulk of the deals. The port city handled more than 26.84 million declared import orders during the first 11 months of the year, up by 5.91 percent on a yearly basis, according to the municipal commission of commerce. The sales volume of the import orders hit 4.46 billion yuan ($680.6 million), up by 4.75 percent over the same period a year ago.
CRRC exports electric buses to South Korea
Chinese vehicle maker CRRC Electric Vehicle Co Ltd has exported a batch of 11-meter-long electric buses with intelligent control to South Korea, according to the company. The white-and-green striped vehicles are equipped with a number of intelligent and security facilities to improve the overall operational efficiency. The company said the vehicles have long endurance with low energy consumption and are equipped with a cloud-based purification system that can be remotely launched for disinfection.
