Premier to attend leaders' meetings
Premier Li Keqiang will attend a series of leaders' meetings on East Asian cooperation via video link between Thursday and Sunday, Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin told a news briefing on Tuesday. At the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Li will attend the 23rd China-ASEAN leaders' meeting, the 23rd ASEAN-China, Japan and Republic of Korea leaders' meeting, the 15th East Asia Summit and the fourth Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership leaders' meeting, Wang said. Li is also set to address the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit 2020 via video link, he said.

Documentary about Pudong makes debut
A six-episode documentary that details the 30-year development and opening-up of Shanghai's Pudong New Area was launched on Tuesday at the Shanghai Tower to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the district's opening-up. Produced by China Central Television, the documentary will be screened from Nov 10 to 16 on several of the broadcaster's channels, including CCTV4 International and CCTV9 Documentary. The documentary, which took a year to film, will feature hundreds of documents and data that have never been seen in public.

Mongolian mutton destined for Wuhan
Ten trucks dispatched by Wuhan Asia-Europe Logistics from Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, were being driven to Ereenhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Monday to pick up some of the 30,000 sheep donated to China by Mongolia. The transportation team is expected to arrive in Ereenhot, on the border with Mongolia, by Wednesday. Each truck can carry about 1,200 slaughtered and processed sheep. The trucks and all related equipment for the transportation team were carefully disinfected, and all the drivers and other workers involved were required to take nucleic acid tests for novel coronavirus before they left Wuhan.
