President Xi Jinping, along with other leaders of the Party and the State, will join representatives from all walks of life in presenting flower baskets in honor of deceased national heroes on Wednesday morning, Martyrs' Day.
The event will be held at Tian'anmen Square in Beijing and broadcast live by the China Media Group.
