Chinese shares close lower Thursday

BEIJING - Chinese stocks closed lower on Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.58 percent to close at 3,384.98 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.83 percent lower at 13,772.37 points.
The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, lost 0.9 percent to close at 2,746.95 points Thursday.
