China steel futures close lower

SHANGHAI - Steel futures closed lower Thursday in daytime trading on the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
The most active construction steel rebar contract for October 2020 delivery was down 59 yuan ($8.52) to close at 3,765 yuan a ton.
The most active October 2020 contract for hot-rolled coils, mainly used in cars and appliances, was down 8 yuan to close at 3,967 yuan a ton.
