June 2010: Six people are killed and 10 injured when a space shuttle simulator ride plunges to the ground at Overseas Chinese Town East, a popular amusement park in Shenzhen, Guangdong province.

February 2015: A 17-year-old girl is killed in an accident on a Ferris wheel-type ride in Shaanxi province. As the girl attempts to get off the ride, having unlocked her safety belt, the machine suddenly begins operating again, throwing her out of the seat. She is taken to a hospital, but dies.

March 2016: One child is killed and 39 are injured when strong winds carry an inflatable trampoline 100 meters onto farmland in Jiatang village, Zhengzhou, capital of Henan province.

February 2017: A female passenger dies when the safety belt she is wearing on a high-altitude ride suddenly snaps and she falls to the ground at an amusement park in Fengdu, Chongqing.

The woman hits the safety barriers surrounding the ride as she falls. She dies in the hospital.

May 2019: Two children die and seven are injured when a sudden gust overturns a bouncy castle in a square in Laiyuan, Hebei province.

July 2019: An 8-year-old girl is killed when an inflatable collapses without warning at a recreational facility in Tanjiaqiao township, Huangshan, Anhui province.

October 2019: A woman and her 3-year-old son are killed in Shandong province when a wire hawser securing a hot air balloon breaks, causing the inflatable to fall to the ground.
