PM announces new Cabinet lineup
Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has announced the lineup of his new Cabinet after the ruling People's Action Party won a general election on July 10. Heng Swee Keat, the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister for Finance, will take on an additional appointment as Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies. Six of the 15 ministries will be headed by new ministers. The situation that Singapore is facing puts a premium on experience and a sure touch, Lee Hsien Loong said, adding that this is why most ministers are experienced with at least one term of government as political officeholders. He also noted that he is rotating the ministers to gain experience.

Latest COVID-19 test clears Bolsonaro
Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro says he has tested negative for COVID-19 after having been isolated at the presidential residence since July 7, when he was first diagnosed with the disease. He made the announcement via social media on Saturday, publishing a photo in which he is seen having breakfast at Alvorada Palace, the presidential residence in Brasilia. Bolsonaro announced that he tested positive for the novel coronavirus on July 7, and then went into isolation in the palace while recovering from the disease.
