2013
The Silver Heights and Helan Qingxue vineyards are included in The World Atlas of Wine, one of the industry's best-known reference books. The New York Times places the Ningxia Hui autonomous region, which is famous for its wine, at No 20 in its list of the world's 46 best tourist destinations.
2015
The Legacy Peak Vineyard becomes the first winery in Ningxia to be awarded an export license. It is the first of 28 businesses in the region to earn a license to export red wine.
2016
Wine made in the eastern foothills of the Helan Mountains in Ningxia is served at a State banquet to welcome German Chancellor, Angela Merkel. A total of 14 wines from 11 wineries in the region are now designated for use at receptions hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
2018
Two wines from the Kanaan Winery hit the shelves at Dan Murphy's, a leading liquor supermarket chain in Australia. China wins eight gold medals at the Decanter World Wine Awards, and Ningxia continues to lead as the country's best fine wine region with 88 awards in total.
2019
118,224 liters of red wine are exported via the customs department in Yinchuan, Ningxia's regional capital. The total value is $1.19 million, a year-on-year rise of 160.8 percent.
February 2019
11,870 liters of wine produced by Great Wall Wine are exported to France from Ningxia, marking the first and biggest bulk export of the region's wine to Europe.
June 2019
50,000 bottles of He Lan Hong wine are transported to Europe by freight trains that travel between China and Europe. The wine is priced at 25 euros ($29) per bottle in the European market.
