With a value of $140,000, the tomato and cucumber seeds produced by Jiuquan Tuoyuan Agriculture Co Ltd passed quarantine inspection by Jiuquan Customs and were successfully exported to Latvia, according to Lanzhou Customs on Friday.

The Hexi Corridor area of Northwest China's Gansu province is the largest seed production base of vegetables and flowers in China, and each year a large number of imported original species are bred and re-exported.
