Foliday launches new travel platform


In response to the rising needs for diverse and high-quality holiday and lifestyle services for families, Foliday, the travel and cultural arm of Shanghai-based conglomerate Fosun International, announced the launch of a new online platform on Saturday.
The platform Thomas Cook would allow Foliday to directly reach individual consumers, observe the latest trends and changes in habits related to travel and holiday, the company said.
Users can book tailor-made travel products, especially those that offer unique local experiences and are cater toward family and children, through the platform.
Qian Jiannong, chairman of the board and CEO of Foliday, said the new platform will make the best use of the existing resources, including vacation villages, hotels, travel agencies and immersive education experience, which have been established by the company.
"Other resources from Fosun and Foliday, including those regarding family, education and health, are expected to be integrated with travel in the future to create personalized products for consumers," he said.
