Meditations in an Emergency, the first exhibition to open at the UCCA Center for Contemporary Art in 2020, shares artists' observations of people's subtle feelings in a time of digital living and an information explosion, and the relationship between humans and our surroundings.

The curatorial concept behind the ongoing exhibition, which runs through Aug 30, is addressing the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. It shows works created over time by 26 artists from home abroad.

The exhibition is an endeavor to examine the role of art in a time of crisis, hoping that art can be a source of not only comfort and strength but also reflect upon present situations and enlightenment for the future.
