Barcelona's Arthur Melo rules out Juve move
MADRID - FC Barcelona's 23-year-old Brazilian midfielder Arthur Melo has said he has no desire to leave the club.
Arthur has been linked with interest from Italian giant Juventus during the forced layoff from football due to the coronavirus, but in an interview from La Gazzetta dello Sport, he insisted his future was at the Camp Nou.
"There is always speculation, but my idea is clear: the only option for my interest is to continue with Barcelona," he said.
"I am very secure and relaxed here. I feel good and I am grateful for the confidence that the club and technical staff have shown in me and that is another reason why I am certain I want to continue," he added.
Although he said it was "always nice" to be linked with big clubs, he repeated that "Barca is where I have always wanted to play and I want to be here for many years above anything else."
"I feel better here with every passing day; with the team, the club and the city. I love the people and the culture here," concluded Arthur.
