Gymnasium serves as cafeteria in Changsha

Changjun Xiangfu High School in Changsha, Hunan province, has converted its gymnasium into a temporary cafeteria to protect students from coronavirus infection.

Canteen staff place different dishes on the desks, and 480 of the school's Grade 2 senior high school students find their own seats, 1.8 meters apart.

What is not allowed? Talking during meal time. Some students get the feeling they're having an exam as they eat.

"As we have so many students eating together, we want to ensure their safety," said He Jianjun, the school's deputy headmaster.

"The gym floor is covered with a nylon cloth, which is skidproof and waterproof, and the area is disinfected every day."
