Recently, American singer Gloria Gaynor adapted one of her best-known songs I Will Survive into a mobile video about hand-washing on TikTok to encourage people to fight against the virus. The short video became another hit on the platform and was imitated by more than 700,000 people.

Many medics have also used TikTok to promote tips on virus prevention. The 23-year-old nurse Rai from San Francisco gained a large number of followers as she combined knowledge of COVID-19 and dance in a short video.
