UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson out of intensive care

United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been moved out of intensive care at St Thomas' in London but remains in hospital for close monitoring.

Downing Street said: "The prime minister has been moved this evening from intensive care back to the ward, where he will receive close monitoring during the early phase of his recovery. He is in extremely good spirits."

Johnson was taken to hospital on Sunday with persistent symptoms of COVID-19 and was admitted to the intensive care unit on Monday.
