Stressed bookstores to get early boost

The government is working to solve bookstores' financial difficulties by building platforms with banks. It suggested publishing houses make it convenient for the stores to present promotional activities and to extend the term for collection of payment.

The government is also encouraging cooperation between online shopping platforms, such as JD and Meituan, to expand selling channels for physical bookstores.
