Racing name Beccacece as head coach

BUENOS AIRES - Argentina's reigning first division champions Racing Club have appointed former Chile and Argentina assistant coach Sebastian Beccacece as their new manager.
The 39-year-old replaces Eduardo Coudet, who parted ways with the club earlier this month to take charge of Brazil's Internacional.
"I want to send a big hello to all Racing fans. We'll see each other soon," Beccacece said in a video posted on the club's social media accounts on Monday.
Racing is currently eighth in the 24-team Argentinian Superliga, which is in the midst of a summer recess.
Beccacece has been out of work since being sacked by Racing's top division rivals Independiente in October. His first competitive match in charge of his new team will be a home clash against Atletico Tucuman on January 26.
