MEXICO CITY - Mexico's Pachuca have signed Uruguayan midfielder Cristian Souza for the 2020 season, the Liga MX club said on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old arrives as a free agent after parting ways with Peruvian outfit Real Garcilaso.
Pachuca confirmed the move on their official Twitter account, without providing details of the value or length of the contract.
Souza made 24 league appearances for Real Garcilaso in 2019, providing four goals and an assist. He also featured twice for the Peruvian club in the Copa Libertadores.
Pachuca will begin their Liga MX Clausura campaign with a visit to Pumas UNAM on January 12.
