As temperatures have recently dropped to as low as -10 C, Hukou Waterfall, part of the Yellow River in Jixian county, North China's Shanxi province, has formed a unique landscape of icicles.

It provides a spectacular scene for tourists to enjoy this famous attraction known for its yellow water and thunderous sound in the bitter cold of winter.

Located on the border of North China's Shanxi and Northwest China's Shaanxi provinces, Hukou Waterfall is the second-largest waterfall in China and the largest one on the Yellow River.
